She also served as assistant director of the gospel choir while attending Elon College.
From 1994-1998 she served in many capacities at Cary First United Church of Christ. In 1996 She was ordained as a Deaconess and developed a fervent desire to study God’s word. She subsequently completed a 7-year study of God’s word through Women’s Bible Study Fellowship International.

In 1999, Angela accepted a higher call on her life, as Co-pastor, in addition to Praise and Worship Leader and Choir Director. While serving in those capacities, she also completed studies in Christian Counseling through Light University and has been a member of the American Academy of Christian Counselors. On March 30, 2008, she was ordained as Pastor of GCCF.
